Our History

For more than 20 years Dr Alan Lim and the team at QV1 Dental have been committed to the provision of the highest quality dental care to all our patients, all the time, by all our staff members with professionalism and sensitivity. The image and reputation of our practice that we have established is very important to us. Our management team actively cultivates an environment in which loyalty and high standard values in our dealings with staff, patients, specialists and all other individuals who come into contact is paramount to us.

We pride ourselves on using the most up-to-date procedures for all treatment options. We always welcome your feedback and suggestions, this is very important to us. Our team is here to help you and answers any questions you may have.

Our practice can introduce you to several ways of making your dental appointment more pleasant – we have the latest technology in Laser dentistry and Cerec cad-cam which often enables us to perform treatment without needing to numb the area with anaesthetic injections. We do not use mercury amalgam fillings; instead we use only the best composite restoration materials (white fillings) and porcelain available. We are very proud of the treatment carried out in our modern premises. It reflects our very high quality of care and commitment to excellence.

Our patient lounge area has been designed to ensure you are completely relaxed prior to your appointment, and has a warm and tranquil atmosphere.

Our treatment suites are equipped with first-class facilities to ensure your appointment is comfortable and efficient. As some procedures can be extensive, we have virtual reality glasses available so you can watch your favourite film while having treatment.

Our Location

We are conveniently located at street level directly below the QV1 car park. We are on the right hand side just past The Melbourne Hotel and Budget Car Rentals. Our nearest cross streets are Milligan and Hay.

Limited ticket parking is available on Hay Street. There are also two Wilson car parks located on Murray Street directly behind our Practice, one of which is the QV1 Car Park. The entrances to both of these parking facilities are off Murray Street. The Red Cat 2 (Free CBD Transit) bus also runs directly past our practice.
